HEALTH AND PUBLIC POLICY SEMINARS CYCLE - CEDES
The Health And Public Policy Seminars Cycle of the CEDES is organized by Daniel Maceira since the year 2002. The goal of the seminars is to contribute to the construction of bridges between the academic production and the health public policies. In this sense, the seminars want to generate a multidisciplinary reflection space, oriented to the knowledges and experiences exchange from specialists from different disciplines that nowadays contribute to the public health field.

EXPERIENCES ON PUBLIC HEALTH MANAGEMENT 2007
This iniciative was developed with the CIPPEC and the Navarro Viola Fundation. The objective is to identify common problems and successful answers of the public health management and to spread them among public health key actors. The goal is to contribute to the sector decision making process, by means of the past experience acknowledgement.
In this direction, during the year 2007 eight seminars were realizad with the participation of former civil servants from ministries or health care programmes, at national or provincial level, that directly or indirectly have collaborated in increase management knowledge of the area. At the end of the cycle the generated debate and the experiences were published in order to achieve the knowledges’ spreading increase.

CYCLE “LEGISLATIVE ROLE ON HEALTH POLICIES FORMULATION”
2007
The iniciative was developed with support of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. The purpose of the cycle is to formulate policies by means the transference of methodological and management skills to the Health Committees from provincial legislatures and the Congress of the Nation. In order to this, the cycle wants to generate a federal space of local, nacional and international experiences exchange, among legislators from the Health Committees of the 24 jurisdictions and to promove the primary health care attention in the public health priorities agenda.

CONFERENCES CYCLE “THE CHILDHOOD ON AGENDA”
2007
The Cycle was developed with both the CIPPEC, the Arcor Foundation and the Noble Foundation of the Clarín Group. The objective of this Cycle is to generate a discussion space with experts and specialist on childhood.
The initiative consists of three seminars with open call: “An integral look to the first years of life”, ”A critical look to the initial level”, and “From rights to action. Presentation of experiences”. At the end of the Cycle it would be realized a Deliberative Forum, oriented to specialists in the topic, with the objective of finding consensus on childhood public policies priorities.

FORUM OF PHARMACEUTICALS CEDES – CIPPEC
2003
The Forum of Pharmaceuticals is an iniciative of CEDES and CIPPEC, in order to generate a space of exchange between specialists and public managers health related. Throughout the “Forum of Pharmaceuticals” the objective is to generate a space to involve the different parts to think collectively a more equitative, quality and cost-effective pharmaceuticals’ policy, to improve the access of the whole population.
